Born…. 1950 – Lakshmi Mittal, Indian industrialist. Known as the Steel Baron, he owns the 2nd largest steel making company ArcellorMittal (owns 38% of the shares); though became big by several acquisitions and raising stainless steel factories. Mittal also owns 75% shares of Rajasthan Royals in
the IPL. His net worth is estimated at $ 18 Billion.
1953 – Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (2012-) and President of the People’s Republic of China (2013-). He’s also the Chairman and Head of People’s Liberation Army. Having joined the national politics in 1983 thru’ CCP, he bacame the most powerful leader of China after Mao Ze Dong as he has brought in most political, economic reforms and tough controls, making China as No. 2 World economy.
