Fireman Recruitment Scam Who’s Behind the Fraud..
Police Arrest 3 in Chandigarh, 60 Illegal Appointments Confessed; CFSL Probe to Reveal Full Truth…
Chandigarh : In a major development in the fireman recruitment scam, Chandigarh Police have arrested three individuals — Deepak, Brijendra, and Naveen — currently working as firemen. During interrogation, the accused confessed to facilitating the illegal recruitment of nearly 60 individuals into the fire department. The scam, which has raised serious concerns about the integrity of the recruitment process, is now under deeper investigation.
The police have swung into action and formally requested the Municipal Corporation to provide all official records related to recent fireman appointments. Authorities suspect a larger network may be involved and have assured that no one found guilty will be spared. According to officials, the arrested individuals played key roles in manipulating the recruitment process, potentially with help from insiders.
To further strengthen the investigation, the police have involved the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL). This move suggests that tampering with official documents and records may have occurred. CFSL experts will examine digital and physical evidence to determine the extent of manipulation in the selection process. The probe is expected to shed light on the entire scam and help identify others involved.
Sources close to the investigation have hinted that fake certificates, manipulated physical test results, and possibly even bribery were used to ensure the selection of unqualified candidates. The Municipal Corporation is now under scrutiny, and questions are being raised about how such a large-scale fraud could take place under its watch.
Public outrage has been growing since the scam surfaced, especially among genuine candidates who were denied jobs due to this fraudulent scheme. Many have taken to social media demanding justice and strict action against the accused.
The Chandigarh Police have assured that the investigation will be transparent and all those responsible — regardless of position or influence — will be brought to justice. As the CFSL examination continues and more records are reviewed, more arrests and disclosures are expected in the coming days.
This fireman recruitment scam not only exposes flaws in the recruitment system but also calls for urgent reforms in how government jobs are offered, verified, and monitored to avoid such corruption in the future.
