MP govt announces aid of Rs 5 lakh each to kin of deceased

Sidhi, Feb 16 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Tuesday mourned the loss of lives in Sidhi bus accident and announced a financial relief of Rs 5 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
According to official sources, while paying tributes to the deceased, Mr Chauhan said that the entire government is with the bereaved families in this hour of crisis.
The Minister said that he is in constant touch with the Sidhi district and Rewa divisional administration and getting instant updates.
As a mark of respect the deceased, Mr Chauhan also postponed the ”grih pravesham” programme to be held here today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also scheduled to attend the event through video-conferencing. One lakh new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Grameen) in Madhya Pradesh, was scheduled to be inaugurated today.
Apart from this, the meeting of the State Council of Ministers was also postponed.
Mr Chouhan also postponed other government programs in view of the tragedy.
He called an immediate meeting of the ministers of the departments concerned and gave them necessary instructions. After this, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat immediately rushed to the spot.
