Kerala School Kids Shine at National Karate Championship 2024, at Talkatora Delhi
Delhi: Young students from Kollam schools, (Kerala), representing the state’s Japan Shotokan Karate Organization – India (JSKOI), showcased exceptional talent at the ‘KIO 1st Federation Cup Premier League & Youth League Karate Championship 2024,’ held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Delhi, from November 19 to 23.
Under the guidance of trainer Mr. Renshi John Master, ten students participated and secured 9 medals, including one Gold and eight Bronze.
Gold Medal Highlight: Christy Sam, a 6th standard student from Baselios Marthoma Mathews-II Central School, Sooranad, won Gold in the Sub-Junior (11 Years, Female Kata) category, bringing pride to her school and state.

Bronze (8): Chris Mathew Sam, Adithya S. Pillai, Mohammad Tippu Sultan, Adish S.V., Ashiq S., Rizwan Rafeek, Ahammed Safwan H., Mohammed Nayif.
Participating schools included Baselios Marthoma Mathews-II Central School, Basalel English Medium School, Travancore Devaswom Board Central School, and Shanti Niketan Central School.
