All will have to join hands to defeat Corona: Yogi

Lucknow, Apr 28 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that the fight against Corona has now reached the stage where all of us will have to join hands to defeat the virus.
“Government, society, health workers, sanitation workers, voluntary organizations, monitoring committees will work together, then the decision will be in our favor,” he said during a meeting with the monitoring committee here on Wednesday.
He expressed confidence that the monitoring committees as frontline corona warriors will be successful in protecting every citizen by becoming the state’s security shield.
He said that it is important to find a way to solve the problem by connecting with the management at the time of disaster. In the present times, it is necessary to boost their morale in view of the challenging tasks of Corona Warriors, he said.
Chief Minister said that prevention than treatment is important in controlling the spread of Corona. “Corona can do nothing if you take preventive measures or get timely treatment. If work is done with this in mind, then it will not take any time to defeat the corona,” he said.
He said that volunteers of Asha, Anganwadi, Youth Mangal Dal, Mahila Mangal Dal and Civil Defense are doing good work, which is getting better results.
Monitoring committees did a very important job in the first wave of Corona. More than 40 lakh migrant workers and labourers in the Quarantine Center, communication with the people living in home isolation, cooperation in distribution of food grains made remarkable cooperation.
