Lions Club Mohali Supreme holds its first GB Meeting
Mohali: Lions Club Mohali (Supreme) held its first Governing Body meeting on July 19 at Hotel Majestic, Mohali. The meeting was very energetic and thoughtful, as it discussed forthcomig projects and growth agenda of the Chapter. Veteran Lion CGL Jagjit Kaur Kahlon motivated the executive members of the Chapter to plan more community and social welfare programs for the coming year 2025-26 and invite more active and socially helpful members to the Club Chapter.
The meeting was presided over by Chapter President Lion Bhupinder Singh Babbar and attended by Secretary Parminder Sharma, Treasurer Lion Simarjeet Kaur, PRO Subhash C Vatsain, Charter President Lion Tilak Raj, MJF Jagjeet Kaur Kahlon.
In his opening remarks, President Babbar informed the Governing Body about the recently conducted very successful Medical Check-up Camp at Singh Sabha Gurudwara. Phase 11, Mohali on July 16, 2025. It was an auspecius day of Savan Sankranti and International Lions Convention Day. He informed that about 125 local poor persons got medical check-up conducted at the Camp.
Governing Body extended thanks and gratitude to the Gurudwara Management Committee at Singh Sabha Gurudwara and media persons for covering the event very well. GB also thanked the Club Members who were present on the occasion and helped in organising the event.
Agenda points discussed at the GB meeting were Upcoming projects for August and later; Revision of Membership Fees; Adding new and active Members to the Chapter, Printg of stationery, Letter-heads of the Lions Club Mohali Supreme, with contact details of the GB members. Secretary Parminder Sharma recorded the meeting proceedings and the Meeting concluded with thanks to the Chair.
