Nitish directs to increase COVID test in rural areas

Patna, May 15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed to increase the test for coronavirus infection in rural areas and asked to initiate all measures for preventing the spread of infection in villages.
While reviewing the functions of dedicated covid health centres and dedicated covid hospitals
set up in nine medical colleges and hospitals of the state through video conferencing, Mr Kumar
took the feedback from the attendants of some of the patients during virtual tour.
Mr Kumar also talked to some of the patients who were recovering and took their feedback
regarding the treatment and other arrangements.
During virtual inspection the chief minister prayed for speedy recovery of the patients and said that special care was being taken of the patients . He said the lockdown has checked the spread of coronavirus infection and appealed to the people to remain alert towards it.
The Chief Minister also directed to take care of the patients under home isolation and instructed for their better treatment . He also asked to provide food to the patients and their attendants from community kitchen .Mr Kumar directed to increase the number of ICU beds in dedicated covid hospitals and assured that there would be no dearth of resources.
