Lions Club Mohali Supreme Organises its General House Meeting
Mohali/Punjab: In a glittering gathering of Lions Club Mohali Su
preme ( R) alongwith associate Clubs LC Roar (Mohali) and Lions Club Leo, the environment was replete with learning on healthy Diet tips and joyous bonhomie. The half-yearly General House meeting organised at Hotel Tulip Mohali, Friday evening, had almost houseful congregation graced by the veteran Dr. BN Behera, retired Sr. Dietician from PGIMER, Chandigarh, as special Guest of Honour and speaker on Healthy Diet regimen for a healthy and happy living.
Giving a complete information about this meeting club PRO Lion Subhash Vatsain, under the able guidence of Club
President Lion Bhupinder Babbar and valuable information by CGL Tilak Raj, who also conducted the meeting in a very professional manner. The meeting started with inovocation of new member Lion Kuljit kaur, followed with brief introduction about Lionisam by Club Charter President CGL Tilak Raj, PMJF and handing over Club directories to team PST by Club Charter President.
After customery formalities the special guest Dr BN Behera Rtd Sr. Diticion gave a detailed advice to the attending Lions routine but vital diet tips for making our body healthy and immune from diseases. He advised that with a proper diet plan any disease can be controlled. Timing of meals, composition of protiens, carbohydrates, minerals and nutrients and maintaing a proper meals schedule are very important and vital for healthy body, he advised. His spouse Ms Anjali Behera also joined as a special guest. Club President BS Babbar also handed over lion kits to newly introduced members post their invo
cation and introduction. Present in the meeting were Club Treasurer Lion Simarjeet Kaur, Club Charter Member Lion Hitesh Kumar Goyal, Lion Kuljit Kaur, Lion Davinder Singh Jhall, LCM Roars President Lion Nakul, Secretary Lion Surjeet Singh, Club Director Lion Sunita Malik, Leo Nakul. Club secretary Lion Parminder Sharma presented vote of thanks to all present members. National Anthem was sung by all, followed by group photos. The meeting ended with sumptous dinner at the vanue by just over 9 p.m. Members dispersed carryinng smiles and joyous memories home.
