Taliban desecrate tomb of Ahmad Shah Massoud in Panjshir

Kabul, Sep 7 (UNI) After taking over Panjshir, the Taliban have reportedly destroyed the tomb of legendary Afghan leader Ahmad Shah Massoud, the father of Ahmad Massoud who is heading the Resistance forces against the Taliban in Panjshir.
Pictures on social media showed the desecrated tomb of the late leader. The Taliban destroyed the verses of the Quran written in golden letters on the tomb.
“The Taliban are not from Afghanistan. They are not Muslims, they appeared just in Muslim clothes,” said a twitter account with the picture of the destroyed tomb.
The Taliban had reportedly also destroyed the statue of Abdul Ali Mazari, a Hazara leader, a few days ago, and also pulled down a photo of Ali Shirnavai, a famous poet.
