ATA offers Life Membership privileges to Sr. Travelers at reduced Fees

The current managing committee has taken many initiatives and measures to spread its wings wider into larger skies over seven oceans.

New Delhi: Air Travelers Association (ATA), a vibrant body of Air passengers, industry professionals and administrators (estd. May 2013) has decided to offer Life Membership to Sr. Travelers at discounted fees of Rs 1100 instead of regular fees of Rs 2600 including entry fees.

The association has over 700 members including veteran airline technicians, civil aviation ministry officials, senior AAI members and frequent fliers. It updates the members every day, on the latest facilities, new airline routes and airports, policy changes, new rules and regulations.

Apart from bringing to the notice of the authorities the hardships faced by air travelers due to deficient services during flights, at airports or due to policy changes, ATA also promises to help fliers in case of any unresolved grievances, through legal advice.

The decision to launch a special membership drive for  Senior Travelers was taken at the Ninth Annual General Meeting of ATA on

August 23 at New Delhi under the chairmanship of President Dr. Satendra Singh and Secretary, Mr. Narasimham D.L. In recognition of services rendered by the elderly in their prime-time ATA has offered the Life Time Membership to them at Rs. 1100. Board Members vowed to undertake an awareness campaign for reaching more air travelers and providing more services to the ATA Members.

ATA is the voice of air travelers and keeps on taking up the generic issues and concerns of air travelers. The AGM was a great success and members expressed their happiness that ATA kept its flag high even during the Covid-19 pandemic by way of public meeting and webinars. The meeting was conducted by Shri G.S. Bawa, Secretary General ATA. The current managing committee has taken many initiatives and measures to spread its wings wider into larger skies across seven Oceans.

ATA also participated actively in Har Ghar Tiranga campaign of Government of India on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, (August 13-15).
