Berlin, Jan 23 (UNI) As India observed the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on Sunday, the Indian Embassy in Berlin arranged a special exhibition on the great freedom fighter and invited his daughter
Dr. Anita Bose-Pfaff to inaugurate it. The exhibition comprises of rare, personal letters and artefacts of Netaji. Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni welcomed Dr. Anita Bose-Pfaff to the Indian Embassy for the inauguration of the exhibition. Bose-Pfaff cut the ribbon and both offered flower tributes at a photograph of Netaji. Addressing the gathering, Netaji’s daughter said she was “very glad to find that after 125 years after he was born he (Netaji) is still so much alive in the hearts of his countrymen and countrywomen, not only in India but also those who live in other countries.” She thanked the Ambassador and other officials and staff of the Embassy for preparing the exhibition. “Some of these are photographs of Netaji that created a direct impact, and some are other objects and letters; and I have chosen some of the letters which my father wrote to my mother,” she said, ending her address with “Jai Hind”. A short video was put up by the Indian Embassy in Berlin on Twitter.
