Star of Tricity Club organises Teej Festival

Chandigarh: Star of Tricity Club organised a Teej Festival at hotel Solitaire Chandigarh. Giving a complete information about this festival MD of the club Preeti Arora gave the brief.  In this festival Mamta Dogra became the Teej Queen of Star of Tricity, Dimple came second and Simmi Gill came 3rd. In this event more than 80 women participated. Suparna Sachdev  attended it as the chief guest,  and special guests included Asha Kahlon, Social activist Jagjit Kaur Kahlon, Sana Madam, Dinesh Sardana,  Artist, journalist,  businessman and social activist Tilak Raj, Tanmay Pushkar, all of them.  During Teej Queen competition Miss India Asia Finalist Amarjeet Kaur, Chairperson Of Sardar Hari Singh Memorial Education Socaity, CGL Jagjeet Kaur Kahlon, MJF.  Event Organisor Dinesh Sardana took the responsibility as a Jury member. In festival Games, gifts and lunch were arranged for the women. All of them performed  a  Gidda dance, Boliya par Dholi.  Title winner was Madhu Bala, Sonu Thakur, Rajwant Kaur  won. Women also took part in ramp walk, in which Mamta Dogra came first, Dimple Parmar came second and Simi came third. Gill, the club’s President and vice president Kiran Jhandu and Neelima Arora said that our level team keeps organizing such programs. So that the ladies can also enjoy, brand ambassador Ritu Singh Maninder Kaur said that we have taken full care of the women’s enjoyment in the Teej program. Everyone was given return gifts, Ms  Neetu’s birthday was celebrated by cutting the cake and praising her at the Teej event, while Seema Bhatia, Saroj Bala, Mahi, Mili Garg, Khushboo, all the women said that the Teej event was very good and they all enjoyed it a lot.
