RSS chief Bhagwat offers prayers at Ramlalla temple in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Oct 21(UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, who is visting Ayodhya, on Thursday offered prayers at the Ramlalla temple and saw the progress of the construction of the grand Ram temple. RSS chief reached Ramjanmabhoomi at 4 pm and at first offered prayers at the Ramlala temple with performing aarti. Chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das greeted him by offering him Prasad and Ramnama.

After darshan at the Ramlalla temple, he took complete information about the construction of the temple. Mr Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, apprised the Sangh chief about the progress made so far in the construction of the temple. He was accompanied by Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabole and Bhaiyyaji Joshi among others.

The Sangh chief also sat in the office of the Trust located at the construction site and consulted the trustees.

After seeing Ramlala, he left for Lucknow. He Stayed half an hour in the Ramjanmabhoomi complex.

Mr Bhagwat had arrived in Ayodhya for a two-day stay to take part in an All India physical exercise class.

Earlier in the day, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat joined the All India Physical Class Branch. A five-day All India Physical Class Branch is underway at Karsevak Puram.
