RECPDCL Handsover Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission SPV to G R Infraprojects Ltd
The transmission project will be implemented in 24 months.
Gurugram: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, the Maharatna PSU Power Ministry and a leading NBFC, handed over a project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of ISTS Transmission Project under TBCB route viz, Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited to G R Infraprojects Limited Monday according to a company press release.
G R Infraprojects Limited emerged as the Transmission Service Provider through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of the transmission project on Build, Own, Operate & Transfer basis.
The SPV was handed over by T.S.C. Bosh, CEO of RECPDCL to Saurabh Kaushik, Business Head –( T&D), G R Infraprojects Limited in the presence of Senior Officials of RECPDCL, G R Infraprojects Limited and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited.
The SPV covers establishment of 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV S/s at Handiya, 400 kV Double Circuit Lines, (650 Kms approx), Augmentation at Pachora PS & Neemuch PS along with installation of line bays and bus reactors.
