PPDPL launches World’s first-of its kind antiVirus Device ‘PUREPrana’ to fight Covid-19
Hyderabad, Aug 26 (UNI) Hyderabad-based Pure Products & Devices Pvt Ltd (PPDPL) on Wednesday claimed that it has introduced the world’s first-of-its kind antivirus device ‘PUREPrana’ which would give relief to patient suffering various respiratory infections including Covid-19.
Addressing at a press conference after unveiling the device, PPDL founder and Director Mr.K. Sastry, specialist in Radio and Radar Communication and service in defence sector for more than 20–years, said the device was developed after making a lot of modifications and evaluations and it was tested by CCMB and IICT.
Challenging that this device would give a perfect counter to Coronavius and also counter the third wave, Mr Sastary, a former defence scientist who worked on the ground and airborne radar systems, said no such device was available and capable of fighting against viruses.
The unique device has been tested on more than 100 people and also examined in over 169 hospitals in ICU, MICU, CCU, operation theatres, cancer wards and diagnostic centres, Mr Sastry, who developed this device, said.
This device developed on ‘ radar technology’ he said is designed to haul the air around the device and sterilize by neutralizing out all sorts of viruses, bacteria present in the air with the help of NanoTechnology and the Ionization process, emitting completely pure and sterile.
The device will not spare any virus and it is available at an affordable cost of Rs 30,000 per piece, he added.
PPDPL CEO Mr S.Nagendra Prasad said that we have already applied for a US patent for the device and it was under process and the present capacity of the existing facility in Hyderabad was 1000 pieces per day and it will scale up to Rs 5000 pieces per day by October end in the fiscal to meet the global demand.
Without disclosing the investments, he said three more facilities to be opened in Hyderabad (Telangana) by October this year and two more facilities in Andhra Pradesh by September this year.
To market this product, we are planning to set up 200 distributor channels and networks across the country by October this year, he informed.
Lifespan of the product was more than 7 years and we will provide an 18-months guarantee and if any problems arise during the guarantee period, would change the entire product, the CEO said.
One product is enough for the entire family but changing ‘ nasal cannula’, ( cost Rs 100) is must whenever any member in the family uses this device, said Mr Nagendra.
Presently, the device is available on e-commerce platform ‘ Amazon’, he added.
