Number of cured COVID patients on rise in HP in general and Hamirpur

Hamirpur (HP), May 18 (UNI) Thanks to the timely medication and cure by the Medical staff, the number of the COVID cured patients was on rise in all parts of the state including the district of Hamirpur.
There were 1, 24,750 cured patients in the state on Monday night out of which the number of such patients was 23,497 in the district of Kangra alone. Mandi district comes second with 18,089, followed by Shimla 17,339, Solan 15,738 and Hamirpur 8,708.
The state has 1,63,786 confirmed cases including 11,601 in the Hamirpur district.
No day passes when there are no older persons declared as cured by the health department.
HPs’ Hamirpur district that is the centrally located district of the state and where the active cases number had come down to zero is also on move in respect of the cured people.
As on Monday night, the total number of the cured patients in the district has risen to 8,708
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. R.K. Agnihotri said today that for the last four days, the number of those who beat Corona has been around three hundred per day. In the district, 369 on 13 May, 368 on 14 May, 320 on 15 May and 320 on 16 May, 298 on May 17th have also defeated Corona. During this period, 1675 people have become healthy.
Dr. Anil Verma, the Nodal officer of the healthy DCHC, said that it is the result of the combined efforts of all that most of the patients in Covid facility centers are recovering. He urged everyone not to panic and maintain morale. Meanwhile, Ghan Shyam Tiwari, a Former Principal of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Nadaun has saluted the staff of the Hamirpur COVID center for providing better treatment to him and his wife that were in the hospital recently.
In a message sent to the authorities, Tiwari said that he was heartfelt gratitude for the best possible services and care given to me and my wife. I brought my wife to the hospital here in critical condition. Her oxygen level had dropped to 66 and required immediate care and medical support. In such a situation, we were well looked after by the competent and skilled doctors here in both Covid centers of Hamirpur. Now we have won the battle against Corona and are going back to our home, he has stated in the letter.
