Nitish: Never invited PK for a meeting

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday categorically denied that he had ever called poll strategist Prashant Kishor (popularly known as PK), for a meeting with him.
Kumar told media persons that he had never invited PK for a meeting with him and in fact he had recently expressed his willingness to meet him.
When he learnt that PK was interested to meet him then he granted an appointment for a meeting, he remarked.
Chief Minister while responding to a query said that PK was falsely claiming that he was called by him for a meeting.
PK was now working for BJP and there was no meaning of what he was saying, he stated.
” Kishor had once advised me four years back to merge JD(U) with Congress, why should I do so”, Kumar asked.
There was no need for him to talk about Kishor but he responded to queries in this connection, he added.
Chief Minister while responding to a query about allegation levelled by BJP that Kishor was working for JD(U), said that he should understand the fact that BJP would not accommodate him anywhere despite his best efforts.
Kishor had nothing to do with politics and his utterances had no meaning, he felt. (UNI)
