Nirmala Sitharaman pays obeisance at Mata Mansa Devi temple

Chandigarh, Sep 24 (UNI) Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday paid obeisance at Mata Mansa Devi Temple and took blessings of the Goddess.
She also visited the ‘Mega Vaccination Drive’ at the Community Centre in Sector 17, Panchkula near here.
The Union Minister was in Panchkula to attend a seminar on “Aarthik Sudhar, Samridhi Avam Modi Ji’.
In the ‘Mega Vaccination Drive’, the Union Finance Minister interacted with the beneficiaries who had been administered the vaccine and also appreciated the Health Care Workers and officers of the Health Department for ensuring smooth conduct of the vaccination drive. She also lauded the State for effectively conducting Vaccination programmes across the State and congratulated Health Minister Anil Vij for the same.
Mr Vij who was also present on the occasion, apprised the Union Finance Minister that several steps have been taken to cover maximum people under the vaccination drives being carried out in the State. The entire State machinery has been mobilized and NGOs and other social organizations have also extended their full support and cooperation for the same, he added.
