In a major operation, a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the residence of Dinesh alias Tapa, a member of the infamous Neeraj Bawana gang, in Rambir Colony, Haryana’s Jind district. The raid, which took place at 4:30 am on Wednesday, saw the NIA team surround the house from all sides before conducting a thorough search operation that lasted until around 9:30 am.
Dinesh has been serving a sentence in Tihar Jail for the past 10 years on multiple charges, including murder and violations under the Arms Act. The raid is part of ongoing efforts by the NIA to crack down on gang-related activities and criminal networks operating across the country.
Police officials confirmed that the NIA had requested their assistance during the early hours of the operation, but the specifics of the action taken during the raid remain unclear. This action marks a significant step in the NIA’s continued efforts to target and dismantle criminal syndicates.
