Moga Sculptor Honors Manmohan Singh with Bust Tribute

Moga: A sculptor from Ghal Kalan, Moga, is creating a bust of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as a tribute to his leadership and values.

Manjit Singh, who has dedicated himself to the art of sculpting, is working on the bust, which will be ready within two weeks. The sculpture will be installed at Desh Bhagat Park in Moga to honor the former PM’s remarkable legacy.

“I wanted to create this bust to pay tribute to the honesty and principles Dr. Manmohan Singh embodied throughout his career,” said Manjit. He added, “Though he is no longer with us, his life and values will continue to inspire future generations.”

Manjit, a former senior officer in the Department of Archaeology and Museums, left his government job to pursue his passion for sculpture. He has previously created busts of notable figures such as Lal Bahadur Shastri, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Baba Bulleh Shah, and former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
