MLA Bhullar lays foundation stones for key development projects
Ferozepur: Ferozepur Urban MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several key development projects at Khai Pheme Ki and the Ferozepur City Vegetable Market, aimed at improving infrastructure and public amenities for farmers, traders and residents.
At Khai Pheme Ki, the MLA inaugurated a 35×35 ft steel-covered shed constructed at a cost of approximately ₹7.69 lakh. He also dedicated tower lights installed at the procurement centre, developed at a cost of around ₹16.16 lakh, to facilitate better operations during procurement seasons.
In another major initiative, Bhullar laid the foundation stone for a 50×75 ft steel-covered shed at the Ferozepur City Vegetable Market. The project, estimated to cost approximately ₹39.95 lakh, is expected to be completed shortly and will provide improved facilities for vendors, commission agents and farmers visiting the market.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhullar said these development works are an important step towards strengthening infrastructure and ensuring better facilities for farmers, arhtiyas (commission agents) and the general public. He reiterated his commitment to the holistic development of the constituency and assured that public welfare would remain the government’s top priority.
MLA said the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to providing better civic amenities and accelerating all-round development across the state. He added that development works in the Ferozepur constituency would continue without interruption to improve the quality of life for the people.
