Haryana: The Haryana government is preparing for a major reshuffle in the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) and Haryana Police Services (HPS) departments. Following recent transfers of IAS and IPS officers, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) is now finalizing the transfer list for HCS and HPS officials. Sources suggest that the transfer list, expected to be released in the next one or two days, could involve 25 to 30 Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) in the first phase.

Large-Scale Transfers:
In the police department, the government has recently promoted 23 inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), paving the way for further organizational changes. Political leaders, including ministers and MLAs, are reportedly lobbying for their preferred officers to be posted at strategic or influential positions. Similarly, officials are actively lobbying for plum posts, seeking transfers to desirable locations.

Large-Scale Transfers:
The reshuffle aims to improve administrative efficiency and align officers’ postings with the government’s developmental priorities. The changes are expected to bring fresh energy to key roles in the administration and law enforcement sectors.
