New Delhi : Pakistan, reeling from the strong retaliatory actions by India following the Pahalgam attack, continues to show signs of desperation. For the third consecutive night, Pakistani forces violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir. However, India responded swiftly and forcefully, ensuring that no damage or casualties occurred on the Indian side. According to reports, Pakistani troops initiated unprovoked firing late at night, attempting to disrupt the calm along the border. Indian forces were fully prepared and gave a fitting reply, compelling the Pakistani side to retreat. The Indian Army’s firm response once again highlighted its readiness to defend the nation’s sovereignty.

The Pahalgam terror attack had already strained the atmosphere between the two countries, and India’s stern actions seem to have unsettled Pakistan. Experts believe that Pakistan’s ceasefire violations are a reflection of its growing frustration and internal pressure. Despite Pakistan’s repeated attempts to provoke tension along the border, Indian forces have maintained strict vigil and control, thwarting any major escalation. Officials confirmed that while there was heavy firing from the Pakistani side, the Indian response was calibrated to ensure minimum collateral damage but maximum deterrence.

There have been no reported injuries or fatalities on the Indian side, and authorities have reassured residents living near the LoC that the situation remains under control. Villagers close to the border have been advised to stay alert but were informed that Indian forces have complete dominance on the ground. Security has been beefed up along the sensitive stretches of the LoC, and additional patrols have been deployed to monitor any suspicious movements.

The ongoing ceasefire violations have also drawn strong condemnation from Indian defense experts, who emphasized that Pakistan’s actions are a blatant violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement. Calls have been made for international attention to Pakistan’s repeated provocations, although India continues to deal with the situation firmly on its own terms. As tensions simmer, the Indian Army remains on high alert to ensure that national security is not compromised.
