Ink thrown at former BKU leader Tikait in Bengaluru press meet
Bengaluru: Former Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait had to face an awkward situation in a press conference in Bengaluru on Monday afternoon. Tikait has been openly campaigning against Bhartiya Janata Party during elections and political platforms in spite of his erstwhile organization has declared policy of being a political outfit. He was thrown out of BKU and the union split into two recently on the subject.
There were skirmishes among the crowd attending press conference and his supporters, the man who was responsible for the provocation was arrested and beaten up. The man was handed over to local police later.
