Heavy rain likely in North Coastal AP

Hyderabad: Heavy rains are likely at isolated places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam in the next three days, the Meteorological Centre here said on Wednesday.
It said that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning were also likely in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rains or thundershowers were likely to occur at many places or at isolated places or at a few places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
The Southwest monsoon has been weak over Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over Rayalaseema while dry weather prevailed over Yanam (Puducherry) during the same period. (UNI)
