Entire state is home for me: Yogi

Lucknow, Jan 15 (UNI) Responding to ‘sent home’ comment of Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the entire state is a home for him, but those with dynastic mindset will not understand it.
It may be noted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in its first list of candidates announced on Saturday, named Yogi as its candidate from Gorakhpur. SP President Akhilesh Yadav made fun of the BJP’s decision to field CM Yogi from Gorakhpur in the Assembly elections, saying the state’s ruling party has “sent him home” before the people could do so.

In a reply to this, Yogi Adityanath Office has tweeted, “For the CM, the entire state is his home and every resident is a family member, but those who indulge in dynasty politics will not understand it.”

In other tweet while terming Akhilesh as ‘Babua’ it has been stated, “Listen Babua, for CM Yogi Adityanath, who considers 25 crore people of the state as his family, entire state is his home. And these residents are going to declare him their guardian again on March 10. But what will happen to you ‘Babua’? A rolling stone gathers no moss.”

Earlier, Yogi expressed his gratitude towards the BJP leadership for making him the candidate from Gorakhpur seat. “Heartfelt gratitude to respected Prime Minister Modi ji, Honorable National President Nadda ji and the parliamentary board for making me the candidate of the BJP from Gorakhpur in the upcoming assembly elections.”
