CBC Chandigarh Celebrates I’Day and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ with Cultural Programs in Chandigarh, Haryana, and HP

Chandigarh: As part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Chandigarh, organised a series of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ cultural programmes and nukkad nataks across Chandigarh, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh, showcasing the spirit of patriotism and national unity according to a press release.

In Chandigarh, CBC, in collaboration with Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector 35-B, staged a nukkad natak highlighting the sacrifices, courage, and determination of India’s freedom fighters. Through compelling performances and impactful dialogues, the play brought to life lesser-known yet inspiring stories from the freedom struggle, engaging and inspiring young audiences.

On the occasion, Ast. Directors Ms. Sheenam Jain and Ms. Bineet Kaur felicitated students with mementos and certificates for outstanding performances in patriotic songs and slogan recitations. A collective pledge was taken to honour the nation’s heroes and contribute towards a united, progressive India.

In Haryana, the CBC cultural troupe presented a vibrant programme at Atal Public School, Karnal, celebrating the country’s rich heritage. A painting competition encouraged creativity and national pride among students, with prizes awarded to the winners.

In Himachal Pradesh, the CBC Hamirpur troupe, in collaboration with Vighanharta Mahila Mandal, Mitra Mandal (Village Chowki) and Gram Panchayat Badagram, Block Bijhari, presented an engaging cultural programme showcasing India’s heritage and patriotic spirit, reinforcing values of unity and pride.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, continues to evolve beyond flag-hoisting into a nationwide people’s movement, celebrating independence and the shared responsibility of safeguarding the ideals of the Republic.
