Business tycoon Gautam Adani calls on CM Mamata at state secretariat

Kolkata, Dec 2 (UNI) Business tycoon Gautam Adani on Thursday called on West Bengal Chief
Minister Mamata Banerjee at her secretariat office Nabanna and spent around an hour discussing investments in the state, sources said.
Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani is keen to invest in the ports, Kolkata and Haldia, and
some other sectors, sources said.
All India Trinamool Congress general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, who is an MP and nephew
of the chief minister, was present during the hour-long meeting, the sources added.
One of the richest men in Asia Gautam Adani is expected to take part in the Bengal Global
Business Summit to be held in the city on April 20 and 21, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi
was also invited to inaugurate the summit.
