BJP issues whip in Lok Sabha for Saturday
Prahalad Joshi to take action on TMC members remarks
New Delhi, Feb. 12 (UNI) All Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members in the Lok Sabha have been asked to remain present in the House throughout the day on Saturday from 10 a.m. onwards and support the government’s stand on some important legislative business.
The party issued a three-line whip on Friday to its MPs in the Lok Sabha, stating that some very important legislative business will be taken up for discussion and passing in Lok Sabha, on Saturday.
While Rajya Sabha adjourned on Friday for the recess to meet again on March 8, Lok Sabha proceedings will be held from 10 a.m. on Saturday instead of the usual time of 4 p.m. during the current Budget session. The Speaker Om Birla announced in the House that proceedings will begin on Saturday morning.
