Bhaichung Bhutia’s HS Party to adopt SSP flag

Gangtok: Bhaichung Bhutia, President, Hamro Sikkim Party has pledged to carry forward the values of (Late) Nar Bahadur Bhandari, on the occasion of former CM’s 82nd birth anniversary on Wednesday. Bhandari was the founder of SSP 1984, which has been delisted by Election Commission of India. This was preceded by Kamal Aresenio Vice President of, Sikkim Sangram Party, handing over SSP’s flag to Bhaichung Bhutia. According to information by SSP, the flag in red and white has been presented to Bhaichung, HSP, in consultation with former MP Lok Sabha Dil Kumari, also Chairperson HSP and DB Basnett, Secretary’s.
An honored guest at the birth anniversary celebration ,Bhaichung accepted the flag will carry forward the values of Bhandari, in our fight to unite people, in our fight for ‘Change’, said Bhaichung Bhutia
‘The new flag signals a new beginning, a new approach, a new Vikalp and a new era of progress & prosperity in Sikkim, led by Hamro Sikkim Party, ‘added Birchington of the members of SSP joined HSP today.
However, the move is anticipated to open a new chapter, during the next elections in 2024. (UNI)
