Bangladesh Chief of Army on a three-day visit to India

Dhaka, Sep 4 (UNI) Bangladesh Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed on Saturday left on a three-day official visit to India by a special Bangladesh Air Force aircraft.
He is leading an eight-member delegation.
During his visit, Bangladesh Army Chief is scheduled to meet with India’s Chief of Defence Staff, Chiefs of Army, Navy and Air staff, Secretary of Defense and other senior military officials, said a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
He will discuss issues of bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries. He will also visit various military installations and the National Defence College of India.
General SM Shafiuddin will also pay a courtesy call on the Bangladesh High Commissioner to India during his visit, the release added.
