Aaj Tak Aamne Saamne celebrates Annual State Star Awards, with great Pomp and Show
Jalandhar: In a glittering ceremony, one of the leading media houses of Punjab , daily Aaj Tak Aamne Saamne organised its annual State Star Awards function, at city’s prominent School of Eminence Saturday evening. The state level gala evening had participation by prominent political leaders, media industry veterans, representatives of Central and State governments, Sufi singers, cultural and dance troops, apart from awardees in different categories of music, culture and social arena from across the State of Punjab.
The Chief Guest of the evening, S. Kultar Singh Sandhwa, Speaker of Punjab Assembly released the Annual Dire
ctory of the media group and praised the team of Director Ms Mandeep Kaur and Chief Editor SK Saksena for their untiring contribution in raising public concerns, welfare issues and disseminating important information through their daily Aaj Tak Aamne Saamne as also raising the public greviences to the notice of various departmental officers. The Chief Editor Saksena highlighted the robust performance of the Group during the year. Cultural program including Punjabi folk dances, Sufi songs and film songs made the evening more lively and memorable.
The management honoured the artists, singers, veteran media persons and political personalities with beautiful momentos on the occasion, apart from release of media house’s Sticker. The stage Secretary Sangat Ram regaled the audience with his quotes and jokes, in between the performances. The Chief Editor SK Saksena, thanked the Guests in the end, for their presence on the Aaj Tak Aamne Saamne Annual Star Awards function.
