Rahul condemns Ludhiana court blast, demands strict action
New Delhi, Dec 23: Litigants and lawyers were shattered by a powerful bomb explosion in Ludhiana court on Thursday noon. Two persons were killed and many injured in the blast which brought down the toilet walls. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday condemned the blast at Ludhiana court in Punjab and demanded strict action against those involved in the dastardly incident which claimed two lives.
“The blast in Ludhiana is extremely condemnable. Strict action must be taken at the earliest against those guilty,” the former Congress president said in a tweet.
The Congress leader expressed his condolences to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones and prayed for speedy recovery of those injured.
“My condolences to the families of those who’ve lost their lives and prayers of quick recovery for the injured,” he said.
A man and a woman were killed and several others injured when a powerful bomb concealed in a toilet ripped through the third floor of the District Courts in Ludhiana on Thursday.
