“After 2014, people had access to basic facilities,” says Amit Shah
2014 saw the Modi government declare that every home needed to have a bank account. According to the Union Minister, every house will have a gas cylinder, a toilet, and tap water.
AHMEDABAD: Amit Shah, who is spending two days in Gujarat, unleashed a vicious attack on the previous administrations, claiming that there were two Indias: the one before 2014 and the one after, and that the Indians of 2014 did not even have access to the most basic amenities.
At a public gathering at the “Bharat Sankalp Yatra” in Chanduwav hamlet, Gir Somnath district, the Union Minister attacked the previous administration, asserting that it was the Modi administration that gave the Indian people access to basic amenities after 2014.
Up until 2014, there were two Indias. In the first, 70 crore people lacked access to houses, power, gas bottles, drinking water, toilets, and medical amenities. India was distinct from the rest, and even they had to fight for free food grains,” Shah remarked.
In 2014, the Modi administration decreed that each and every home needed to have a bank account. There will be a gas cylinder, a toilet, and tap water in every house. In addition, a scheme would be implemented whereby the government will pay for all medical expenses up to a total of five lakhs per individual. Each person will get five kilograms of grains for free, and by offering other benefits, this will start to improve the lives of seventy crore people,” he continued.
