Only BJP can provide strong govt in UP: Yogi

Pipraich (Gorakhpur), March 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that a ‘Dumdaar Sarkar’ (strong government) was a must for all-round development of the state and only a government led by Bhartiya Janata Party could guarantee it to people, providing them with houses, toilets, electricity and better transport. “Yogi will do everything to make your life easier under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he remarked. Urging the people to vote for NDA candidates, Adityanath said “You have been a witness to the working of three governments, led by Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), and the BJP. You must have noticed the difference. The previous governments failed to provide safety and security to people, risked youths’ lives and looted money meant for development. “Their governance was extremely poor with people left struggling for basic necessities, whereas we have ensured safety and security of every citizen, while carrying out development programs of the state as well as welfare schemes for the poor and needy with total transparency. They provided electricity also after looking at people’s faces, while we are providing electricity to everyone. “We have been providing double dose of ration throughout the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic. We have built houses and toilets for the poor and have provided LPG connections.” Yogi said the BJP Government, if elected to power again, would provide free LPG cylinders on Holi and Diwali and would also increase the amount given to poor parents for the wedding of their daughters from Rs 51,000 to Rs one lakh. Women above 60 years of age will be allowed free travel in state road transport buses, he pointed out. Yogi said that his government provided pension for seniors, widows and the differently-abled. “We have provided 5 lakh govt jobs in the last five years and would give a job in every family when we are elected”, he added. Yogi said that he would use bulldozer for both building roads and demolishing the mafia’s illegal properties to fill government coffers. Yogi said that no Congress, SP or BSP Government would have built a Ram temple in Ayodhya, which has been pending for five centuries. “It’s only BJP, which could do it and we are fortunate to belong to a generation which is doing it,” he remarked.
