Delhi LG VK Saxena’s Initiative to create awareness thru’ Rural Women Empowerment by Drone Technology

Singhola, Delhi –  In a significant move towards empowering rural women,  the Delhi Lt. Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena,  initiated a Drone Demonstration event in Singhola village. The initiative, part of the visionary mission led by  PM Narendra Modi, was conducted by “WOW Go Green LLP,” a leading agriculture drone manufacturing venture , in collaboration with Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurs University.

The event saw an enthusiastic turnout with 85 rural women and 45 villagers in attendance. The women expressed their excitement and interest in pursuing drone pilot certification courses, with aspirations to become drone entrepreneurs. This initiative marks a pivotal step in integrating advanced technology with rural development, potentially transforming the lives of these women by opening up new avenues for employment and entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.

The demonstration underscores the government’s commitment to skill development and technological empowerment in rural India, aligning with broader national objectives to foster innovation and self-reliance.-
