New endeavor to synergize Indo-Russia IT Biz by RISING and RUSSOFT

RISING to help Russian IT companies expand operations in Indian market

New Delhi: A meeting of IIT professionals from India and Russia was held in the Indian capital, last week to fill up the gap created by West’s boycott of Russian trade and industry following the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. The event was attended by top CEOs of the two nations under the forum; Russia India Special Interest Group (RISING) in collaboration with RUSSOFT. The event evoked a positive response from either side and vowed to explore synergies between Indian and Russian technology companies. The business leaders from both countries participated in this event to discuss modus operandi that will lead to a long-term collaboration in the area of innovation and technology development.

At the RUSSIA INDIA BUSINESS FORUM, organized by ROSCONGRESS, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between RUSSOFT, TSEA, and RISING. Several dignitaries attended the event, including Ish Anand, CEO of Global Wealth Group, and Vinay Krishna Gupta, CEO of Antino.
“When the United States and almost all of Europe boycott Russia and its allies, it is high time that the Indian IT industry fills this gap. At the same time, the Russian IT industry wishes to enter the Indian market. We should take it as an opportunity to collaborate with the Russian market. It would be helpful for India and our old friend Russia,” says Commander V K Jaitly, Director (Honorary) of RISING

As a result of this collaboration, new opportunities and strategic interests will be explored. We are happy to host our Russian partners and invite them to Make with India. Aside from safeguarding India’s technological ambitions, this will also allow Russian companies to find new partners and markets to showcase their indigenous technology.” This is according to Subham Sarkar, Director (Honorary) of RISING.

The Russian Software Association (RUSSOFT) is the most influential association of software development companies in Russia. 310 IT companies employ more than 80 000 high-end professionals. RUSSOFT headquarters are in Saint-Petersburg. The ROSCONGRESS Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of conventions, exhibitions; and business moving public, youth, sporting, and cultural events.
RISING is a special interest group with members from Russian technology companies and a team of IIT alumni. RISING promotes common
interests in technology as well as ecosystem partners from government, industry, research, and academic institutions.
