RD Dhiman appointed new Chief Secretary of HP

Shimla: RD Dhiman, a 1988 batch IAS officer of Himachal Pradesh, was on Thursday appointed as the new Chief Secretary, replacing incumbent CS Ramsubh Singh, who is posted as Principal Advisor (Administrative Reforms) here.
A notification issued here today by the Governor said that Dhiman, who is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (MPP & Power, NCES, Industries and Labour & Employment) in state government and also holding charge of the post of Chairman, HP State Electricity Board Ltd, Shimla, was appointed as Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
Ramsubh Singh on August 5, 2021, had been appointed as Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh in place of 1986 batch IAS officer Anil Khachi, who was appointed as State Election Commissioner.
Nisha Singh, Additional Chief Secretary; Ali Raza Rizv, who is on Central deputation and Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta are senior to Dhiman. They were posted as Advisor to the state government in various capacities.
In another notification issued here late today said that Ram Subhag Singh, IAS (HP: 1987), Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla posted ad Principal Advisor (Administrative Reforms) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Ms. Nisha Singh , IAS ( HP : 1987 ) , Additional Chief Secretary ( Rural Development & Panchayati Raj , Administrative Reforms , Training & FA and Technical Education ) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh , Shimla as Principal Advisor ( Training & FA ) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh , Shimla and Sanjay Gupta , IAS ( HP : 1988 ) , Additional Chief Secretary ( Social Justice & Empowerment ) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh , Shimla as Principal Advisor ( Redressal of Public Grievances ) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh , Shimla . The above-mentioned IAS officers shall work under the overall administrative and supervision of the Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh. (UNI)
