₹1.89 Crore Development Projects Launched in Yamunanagar, Jagadhri Wards

Yamunanagar : The Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ) has initiated development works worth ₹1.89 crore across wards 11, 15 and 18, including construction of streets, drains and a dharamshala.
The foundation stones for these projects were laid by Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora, Mayor Suman Bahamani, and senior BJP leader Nepal Rana.
In Ward No. 15, development works worth ₹81.13 lakh were flagged off in the presence of municipal councillor Manu Singla. Projects worth ₹18.90 lakh were launched in other ward areas. Separately, Nepal Rana, son of Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana, laid the foundation for works worth ₹73.32 lakh in Aurangabad and ₹15.97 lakh in Mandebar village along with councillor Ujjwal Singh Thakur.
Mayor Suman Bahamani instructed officials to ensure strict quality checks, emphasizing that development was being carried out “without any discrimination across wards.” She said, “Our main objective is to provide citizens with basic facilities in every ward under the civic body.”
MLA Arora highlighted that several major projects were underway across Yamunanagar, Jagadhri and surrounding rural areas, especially streets and drainage systems to improve connectivity and ease of living.
Speaking at the event, Nepal Rana said the Haryana Government was committed to public welfare through multiple schemes. “The main purpose of the government is to serve people and ensure benefits of welfare initiatives reach all sections of society,” he added.
