Yogi writes to Block Pramukhs to improve village infrastructure

Lucknow, Aug 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has written letters to the Block Pramukhs to prepare a plan to improve the infrastructure of the villages keeping in mind solid and liquid waste schemes in their respective regions.
In his letter, he said that under the central and state finance commission proposals the Kshetra Panchayats will get around Rs 2500 crore for development of infrastructure in the block area. “This money should be used for the development of the village and for this you need to prepare a plan,” CM said in his letter on Sunday.
He further said that 50 per cent of the said money should be utilized for drinking water and waste disposal schemes. “I believe that you will utilize both the financial and human resources under your disposal for the betterment of your region,” he said.
CM has sent the letter to all the 826 block pramukhs.
