Writer, Director Raju Verma has big plans to release 8 films this year
He plans to collaborate with OMG Group, Golden Makers and Saya Films in his projects
Mohali : Renowned Punjabi film writer, director and producer Raju Verma, who has been working for a long time in Punjabi cinema to promote the Punjabi mother-tongue through meaningful projects and is well known in Pollywood for his work, shared his plans on upcoming projects today in Mohali. He announced his plans to prepare and release eight films this year in collaboration with OMG Group, Golden Makers and Saya Films.
While talking to Ajit on the sets of the Punjabi film “Haye Ni Bebe Meriye”, he said that the shooting of the film is currently in progress and it will be completed soon. Apart from this, the films “Son of Chhada,” “Bharjainya,” “Sareekniyan,” “Lajwanti,” “Sass Poojni Sandookan Ohle,” “Daraaniyan-Jathaniyan,” and “Middle Class” are also being produced.He said that all these eight films will be completed and released within this year and their shooting is already underway. Writer Raju Verma said that these films will portray stories from every household and will be inspirational, encouraging parents to motivate their children to watch them.
He further said that his earlier films such as “Aate Di Chidi,” “Ni Main Sass Kuttni,” and “Muklawa” were also family-oriented films. Raju Verma added that these films are being produced in collaboration with Manish Sahni and Gurpreet Singh (Neetu Bhaji) and will highlight Punjab, Punjabi culture and family relationships.He also informed that well-known singer and actor Mehtab Virk, actors Jobanpreet, Anmol Verma, actresses Nirmal Rishi and Aditi Arya, along with Malkit Rauni, Jatinder Kaur, Seema Kaushal, Hashar Wala Kaka, Satwant Kaur, Ravinder Mand, Dilawar Sidhu, Satinder Kaur, Rakhi Hundal, Prakash Gadhu, Rang Dev, Satwinder Raj, Tilak Raj, Vinod Sunam, Bindu Brar, Sakshi Sharma, Raman Deep, child artist Sahibaj Singh, Balveer Boparai and others are working in these films.These films are being directed by Praveen Kumar, while Sanjay Saluja, Happy Gill and Arshdeep Singh are working as assistant directors. The costumes have been designed by Lata Kumari, while Anmol Verma is the project head and Kuldeep Singh is handling the production.
