Kolkata, Feb. 21: Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha has reported threats from a journalist for not granting interview by him. Saha shared screen chats of some disturbing messages received by a journalist. This has come after Saha was dropped from the Indian Test squad against Sri Lanka which was announced by the Chairman of the National Selection Committee, Chetan Sharma recently.

It is very interesting that Wriddhiman Saha has often been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the last couple of weeks. First up, there were reports in the media of him not playing in the Ranji Trophy this year due to a message received by the selectors that he will no longer be in the scheme of things in red-ball cricket. After this, he refused to play in the Ranji Trophy and said that CAB is involved in the controversy.
Chetan Sharma announcement was followed by a press conference, yet there were questions on the axing of some senior players including Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Wriddhiman Saha, and Ishant Sharma.
