Vande Bharat train to get Barnala halt, announces MP Meet Hayer
New Delhi : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP from Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer on Tuesday called upon Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu at New Delhi. The Member Parliament put forth the demand pertaining to the stopover of New Delhi to Ferozepur Cantt. Vande Bharat train at Barnala. He said that the game changing measure would immensely benefit the scores of nearby villages and towns who would be connected with the National Capital. Revealing more, Meet Hayer said that the Union Minister has assured him that his demand would be given due consideration and the halt of the train at Barnala would be ensured. Since long the demand was being made by me to run a train which would connect Barnala directly with the National Capital and now when the Vande Bharat train from New Delhi to Ferozepur Cantt. was announced then too Barnala was not made a halt, added Meet Hayer and further averred that he raised the demand multiple times in Parliament and now when the long cherished desire stand fulfilled, he expresses gratitude to the Railway Ministry.
The Parliamentarian further articulated that he would personally accord grand welcome to the train when it would make a halt at Barnala and specially thank the Union Ministry.
