US Osprey nuclear aircraft crashes in California on Wednesday
Washington: A V-22 Osprey aircraft crashed in southern California but there was no nuclear material on board, a Marine Corps spokesperson told Sputnik.
Earlier on Wednesday, media reported that a US military aircraft possibly carrying nuclear material crashed in California, killing at least four people.
“I can confirm there was a V-22 (Osprey) crash in Glamis, California. There was no nuclear material on board. We don’t have any additional information,” the spokesperson said on Wednesday.
The spokesperson added that he could not confirm any casualties as a result of the crash. (UNI/SPUTNIk)
