Trump Warns Hamas: Hostage Crisis Must End Before Inauguration or ‘All Hell Will Break Out’
Trump pledges to take a tough stance on the Gaza conflict, insists the October 7 attack should never have happened….
\Florida : US President-elect Donald Trump issued a stern warning regarding the ongoing hostage crisis in Gaza, telling Hamas that “all hell will break out” if the hostages are not released before his inauguration on January 20. Speaking at a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump emphasized that the situation would not
end well for Hamas, declaring, “It will not be good for Hamas and it will not be good, frankly, for anyone.”
Trump strongly condemned the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on Israel, stating, “There should have never been that attack.” His remarks reflect his uncompromising stance on securing the release of the hostages held in Gaza, which has been a critical point of his foreign policy agenda.
Steve Witkoff, appointed by Trump as the special envoy to the Middle East, expressed optimism about the negotiations for a ceasefire, stating that they are making significant progress. “It’s the president, his reputation, the things that he has said that are driving this negotiation,” Witkoff said, expressing hope that the situation could be resolved before Trump’s inauguration.
However, a senior official from the Biden administration responded cautiously, acknowledging the difficulty of the ongoing negotiations. Despite optimism from Trump’s team, the Biden administration, which has been in talks for over a year, has not yet succeeded in brokering a ceasefire that would ensure the hostages’ release.
Trump also made other bold statements during the press conference, hinting at future territorial ambitions. He refrained from ruling out using “economic force” to acquire Canada and reiterated his previous stance on Greenland and the Panama Canal, showing his intention to exert influence over these regions for what he described as “economic security.”
Trump’s comments have sparked a range of reactions, with some questioning the feasibility of his proposals. The final resolution of these matters, including the hostage situation, remains uncertain, but Trump’s incoming administration is already signaling a tough stance on international diplomacy.
