You may have known…. 1. India has 13 major ports/terminals; Pakistan has only 3.  China has 34 major ports and over 2,000 minor ports; major ports are perimarily sea ports.

2. Female and male relationships: Two thousand years ago, the position of women in the Hindu society was described as, “a woman should never be independent. Her father has authority over her in youth, and in old age her son has authority over her”. However, in post-independence India, there has been some change in the status of women, but mainly among the wealthier women who have had opportunities for education and employment. The older societal male dominated views regarding women still largely prevail in rural areas.

In Christianity also Females got equal status with Males in the early 20th century, yet in the Muslim  society, Females are still treated as a commodity, subjugated to the whims and fancies of their Male family members.                                                 {Compiled by Lt.
