1609 – The modern face of the moon first emerged when Galileo Galilei turned his telescope toward the moon, noted the irregularities of the crescent face, and made a drawing to record his discoveries.
1759 – Emperor Alamgir II of Delhi was assassinated by his minister.
1784 – John Jeffries, an American physician and scientist, recorded the first scientific data for free air, to a height of 9,309-ft, during a balloon flight in London, including twelve observations of temperature, pressure, and humidity. Jeffries’ values agree closely with modern determinations.
1899 – Aluminium was first used commercially in the U.S. as an electrical transmission conductor.
1924 – 1st photo facsimile transmitted across Atlantic by radio (London-New York).
1974 – India, Pakistan decide to end the ten-year trade ban.
2022 – Artificial intelligence Chatbot ChatGPT prototype released by A.I. lab OpenAI, able to answer complex questions, write poetry and mimic some human emotions.

1835 – Mark Twain [Samuel Clemens], American, poet, humor author known as Father of American literature. His popular books are The Innocents, Roughing It, The Innocents, Life on the Mississippi, Adventures of Huckelberry, The Mysterious, The Guilded Age etc. He was honoured with D. 1858 – Sir Jagadis Chandra Bose, Indian physicist and plant physiologist who investigated the properties of very short radio waves, wireless telegraphy, and radiation-induced fatigue in inorganic materials.
1874 – Winston Churchill, sold

1936 – Sudha Malhotra, Indian actor, Bhajan, Ghazals and film playback singer. 1962 – Irrfan Khan, Bollywood actor, who also acted in British and American films like The warrior. Known for roles in Piku, Life of Pi, Jurassic Wold, Slumdog Millionaire, Qarib Qarib Single, Blackmail, Angrezi Medium, Hindi Medium, Maqbool etc. He won 6 Filmfare, 1 National Film award, PGA Emerican and several accolades. He died of Colon Cancer in 2020.
RIP….2012 – Inder Kumar Gujral, a diplomat who served as Ambassador in USSR, a politician-Member of CPI and Congress Party and later became the country’s 12th prime minister from April 1997 to March 1998.

A shark can detect one part of blood in 100 million parts of water. Sharks are big sea fish, sometimes dangerous as they eat other fish and called Tiger Shark sometimes 20 meters long and 20,000 pound in weight. They can sometimes attack humans too.
