‘The Bengal Files’ getting rave reviews from intelligensia
New Delhi: The much talked about film ‘The Bengal Files’ and berated by the so-called secular brigade has been getting more than expeced appreciation from the viewers, critics and intelligesia across the country. Based on violent raids on non-violent (non-muslim) population of Bengal by Direct Action groups of Muslim leaders during Partition of India (particularly in Bengal, Bihar and adjoining states) in 1946-47, the film underlines the atrocities on innocent citizens. The film is produced and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and has Dadasaheb Phalke award winner Mithun Chakraborty, veteran Anupam Kher, Darshann Kumar, Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Mohan Kapoor and others in the starcast. The 3-hours 24 mts long film is believed to be attracting huge crowds in most theatres and grossing satisfactory collections at Box office windows.
The veteran Navy Commander and occasional film buff, V.K. Jaitley sends his views on the film, from Delhi, for our viewers’ benefit: I saw the great movie, The Bengal Files. I am convinced that every Indian should see this movie. After seeing this movie, some good Muslims will feel ashamed of the fanatic muslim psyche and may decide to come back to their original Sanatan fold that preaches Vasudhaiva Katumbkam, the whole world is one family. Normal Hindus may be rekindled with the main message of Bhagwan Krishna, “हे अर्जुन! अधर्मियों को समाप्त करने के लिए शस्त्र उठा” instead of the present craze of माला जपो, माला जपो by some Hindu preachers. Bapu’s misguided अहिंसा परमो धर्म: had its effect only on stupid Hindus and will be dumped sooner or later in the dust bin. And Bengali Bhadralok may be awakened and inspired after seeing this eye opener movie to save West Bengal and make it the Leader State once again in all aspects.
Since the film has been repeatedly edited and released as per Apex Court’s advice, film lacks some punch expected by fans and history lovers, as some clips and roles have been edited out.
Book your ticket now, if you haven’t seen Bengal Files till now. A very important movie for the Youth of India. This story about the genocide of Hindus was hidden from us till now by successive governments since 1947.
Some dialogues quoted from the film by Cdr. Jaitly are:
