Telangana CM instructs to conduct fever survey again in corona affected areas

Hyderabad, Jul 9 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed Medical and Health officials to conduct once again fever survey in the Corona affected areas in the state as the Fever Survey was successful in the early detection and curtailing the Corona spread.
The CM observed that Corona had not been controlled fully in the neighboring states and hence the Corona affect has not been completely rooted out in the neighboring districts.
He wanted the officials concerned to identify such areas, do a scientific study and critically analyze the reasons for the spread of Corona there.
The CM instructed the medical and health officials to implement a special scientific action plan.
The CM instructed that a team of senior Medical and Health department officials under the leadership of Medical and Health Secretary Sri S.A.M Rizvi should visit the Corona affected boarder areas on July 11 to 13.
The CM instructed the officials to tour for three days using a Chopper and visit Nagarjuna Sagar, Miryalguda, Nakrekal, Suryapet, Khammam, Dornakal, Huzurabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Bellampalli, Godavari Khani, Sircilla and Warangal for three days at a stretch.
He wanted the officials to prepare and submit a report to the Cabinet after their tour.
He wanted the officials to study at the ground level and analyze the reasons for the Corona spread in the districts.
He wanted them to prepare special preventive measures and action plan for the curtailment of the Corona spread.
He wanted a meeting to be convened with the local district collectors, DPOs, Municipal Commissioners, and DMHO, Hospital superintendents and alert them about the visit of the Medical Team.
On Friday the Chief Minister held a review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan on Corona situation in the State, curtailment of Corona and the Medical and health situation, an official release here said.
