Tanda hospital doctors save 1216 patients from Corona in 5 months

Dharamsala, June 7 (UNI) The last five months saw 1216 COVID-19 patients recovering after receiving treatment in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Govt. Medical College, Tanda.
Most of these patients were seriously infected with corona, noted Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Principal of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Govt. Medical College Tanda.
Dr Awasthi said that the patient of the facility are from different areas of the state including Hamirpur, Una, Chamba and Kangra and the facility of ventilator along with beds with oxygen has also been made available to themselves.
Dr. Awasthi said that the team of doctors of the medical college is treating the serious patients diligently.
He said that during the month of May, 901 patients infected with Covid-19 were admitted for treatment in Dr Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda, out of which 600 patients have returned home after recovery,
Principal Dr. Bhanu Awasthi said that most of the Covid patients in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College come from different districts, who arrive here in a serious condition and for the proper care of all such patients, specialist doctors in Tanda Medical College render round the clock services. Treatment is carried out under the supervision of specialist doctor and complete monitoring of health parameters is ensured.
He said that people should be prepared for social distancing, use of masks, washing hands frequently, keeping in mind the COVID protocol. He said that in case of symptoms of cough, cold etc., make sure to get the Covid test done immediately, along with this, do not waste time in home remedies at any stage, immediately start the treatment according to the instructions of the doctors so that the infection is not spread in the initial stage.
